Three#WeSeeYou Network

How we made headlines for Three.

The project

Three UK’s #WeSeeYou Network was launched to help elevate and celebrate the hidden role models in women’s sport. In other words, it’s the kind of programme that can not only provide long overdue recognition to some incredible women in sport, but helps create more opportunities and inspiration for the next generation of athletes. The challenge then was to get this campaign seen, and supported, as widely as possible.

As a long-time partner of Three, we were asked to help tell the story of the WSYN, and in particular the story of Lily Parr, a trailblazing female footballer from the early 20th century whose legacy deserves a modern-day spotlight.

Our approach

We found ourselves working with everyone from poet Carol Ann Duffy, who wrote a poem for the campaign, to the Chelsea Women’s football team, as well as grassroots women’s football teams.

The result

The result was a brand film that was so well received online that it ran as a TVC over Christmas, and a campaign that made it all the way to the front page of The Guardian.

The task was to bring these extraordinary stories, and inspiring women, to as many people as we could. And we’re seriously proud of how much noise we were able to help them make.
